Program Goals

We seek to . . .

Promote quality relationships for children, staff, families, and lab students. Provide an age appropriate environment that supports each child’s individual style of learning.

Create an atmosphere of trust, respect and appreciation of diversity.   View each child as competent when challenging their growth in the six domains of social, emotional, cognitive, language, creative and physical self.

Offer learning experiences that enhance the child’s active exploration, social competence, and verbal and non-verbal language development.

Recognize the parent as the child’s primary teacher and create a respectful atmosphere that supports optimal childcare services for students, faculty, staff and the community.
