                                 both CRNs on the Add Classes worksheet simultaneously and submit your changes. For
                                 example, when registering for ENG 110, you must also register in ENG 120 at the same
                                 time.

Definition:
The maximum hours allowed in Fall/Spring is 18 and in Summer is 8. For Dual Enrollment
                                 students, the maximum hours allowed is 9 (Fall/Spring) and 8 (Summer). *Students on Disqualification or Probation may be subject to reduced maximum hours. For more information on disqualification

                                 with a cumulative 3.0 grade point average with 12 or more units (not ESL) completed
                                 at SBCC may enroll in up to 20 units (9 units in Summer). Visit Admissions & Records for assistance. Ability to enroll in excess of 20 units (9 units in Summer) requires
                                 counselor authorization. Students who do not have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average
                                 at SBCC or who have records from another college or high school may take in excess
                                 of 18 units (9 units in Summer) upon counselor authorization. Visit the Academic Counseling Center for assistance.

Resolution for a credit course:
If you have previously completed the course with a passing grade, you may be eligible
                                 to audit the course with instructor approval. If you are registered in the class in
                                 the current term, you will not be allowed to register until final grades are posted.

Definition:
You have exceeded the maximum number of allowable enrollments in this course.
Resolution:
You may be eligible for consideration of an additional enrollment. Review the Petition
                                 for Course Repetition in Excess of Maximum Allowable Enrollments at www.sbcc.edu/forms. Only completed petitions will be accepted in Admissions & Records and must be submitted
                                 by stated deadlines (see petition). All petitions for course repetition require review
                                 by the Scholastic Standards Committee.

You have previously completed the maximum number of allowable repetitions in this
                                 course.
Resolution:
Use class search to find another course to register in. 
Definition:
Your record reflects that you have exceeded the maximum number of course repetitions as defined in the college catalog.
Resolution:
You are encouraged to select another course to register in. For example, if you are attempting to register in PE 149: Life Fitness and receive this message, you may choose to register in PE 166: Life Fitness Strength Training instead.

Registering in classes that overlap is not permitted.

Use class search to select another CRN of the same course that meets at different
                                 days/times. For time conflicts of no more than ten minutes, submit the Petition to Allow Time Conflicts to Admissions & Records.
