What We Do

Santa Barbara City College has been offering study abroad programs for more than 36 years. Since its first credit summer program in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1973, more than 5,500 SBCC students have participated in study abroad programs in approximately 15 different countries, including Spain, Greece, Italy, England, France, Mexico, Costa Rica, the former Soviet Union, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, China and Vietnam.

In the spring of 2010, we will be offering a semester program in Cambridge as well as a semester program in Rome. In the summer of 2010, we will be offering an intensive Spanish language program in Costa Rica, a Marketing Program in Vienna, Salzburg, Munich and Prague, as well as a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Program in Vietnam. In the fall of 2010, we will be offering an Spanish Language and Latin American Culture Program in Chile and Argentina. To visit the Study Abroad website, click here.
