Course Changes & Refunds - Fall 2021

Student enrolled in a previously scheduled face-to-face and was moved to a fully online format have three choices.  Please read the flowchart below to navigate these changes:

Students are required to pay certain mandatory fees when enrolling at SBCC:

ALL STUDENTS (on campus and online only)

      • Student Health Fees are charged to all students enrolled in a SBCC class.  Certain exceptions apply.  Visit our Current Fees webpage for more information. 

ON CAMPUS STUDENTS (enrollment in one unit or more on campus)

      • Mandatory Transportation Fee are charged to all students enrolled in only on campus course(s).  (If your course load is entirely online, you will not be charged this fee, or will be credited this fee when your course changed to online.)

      • Student Representation Fee are charged to all students enrolled in only on campus course(s), and may be opted out on your pipeline portal.  (If your course load is entirely online, you will not be charged this fee, or will be credited this fee when your course changed to online.)

      • Student Activity Fee are charged to all students enrolled in only on campus course(s), and may be opted out on your pipeline portal.  (If your course load is entirely online, you will not be charged this fee, or will be credited this fee when your course changed to online.)

RECOMMENDED ACTION FOR FALL 2021:
  1. Check your Schedule/Bill and visit our Current Fees webpage for more information. 
  2. Check your Schedule/Bill and review your payment options at our Pay My Bill webpage.
  3. Any credits from the above course changes or from dropping the new course may have been applied to an outstanding balance for another course or fee. Check your Schedule/Bill before requesting a refund. Refunds are not automatic!  Review more about refunds and request one online.   Request for Refunds are available in English and in Spanish on our webpage.
