Purpose:

Assistive technology and tutorial lab

Tutors offer individualized strategies instruction to support you in your SBCC classes. You will learn effective study methods for reading, writing, calculating, problem solving, note- taking, studying, test preparation, and staying organized. Please bring your assignments with you.

Open lab hours for strategies tutoring:
Monday 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Thursday 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday CLOSED

Kurzweil 3000
(text to voice software for learning disabilities)
Dragon Naturally Speaking (speech recognition)
Jaws (screen reader for Windows)
