SBCC OFFERS TWO TYPES OF TUTORING PROGRAMS
The Tutorial Program
Tutorial tutors assist students across departments on a drop-in basis. Some are subject tutors and some are laboratory tutors. Tutors meet with students across campus in numerous tutoring sites. Please make sure you note the tutoring location when viewing the tutor schedules. To check tutor schedules, visit the Tutorial Lab in the CLRC or click on tutor schedules.
The Gateway Program
Certain SBCC classes are designated as Gateway classes(look for the G when registering for classes). Gateway tutors work directly with the Gateway instructor assisting students in the classroom and/or meeting with students outside class hours.
