English as a Second Language Assessment for Spring 2010
To take English as a Second Language classes please follow these steps:
Para tomar cursos de inglés como segundo idioma (ESL) tome los siguientes pasos:
- Pick up an SBCC application form from the Admissions Office (SS-110) or the ESL Office (IE-2).
Obtenga una solicitud (SBCC application form) de la oficina de Admissions (SS-110) o de la oficina de ESL (IE-2). - Complete the application form and take it to the Admissions Office.
Complete la solicitud y llévela a la oficina de Admissions. - Choose a test date from the list below and ask for an ESL appointment ticket at the Admissions or Assessment Office. You may also make an appointment on-line. If there are no appointment tickets, come on the day of the test, and you may take the test if space allows.
Escoja una fecha para presentar su examen de colocación de la lista en la parte inferior de esta hoja y solicite una ficha/boleto (ESL appointment ticket) en la oficina de Admissions o de Assessment. También puede hacer cita via internet: www.sbcc.edu/assessment. Si ya no hay fichas/boletos, venga el día del examen, y si hay lugar, se le permitirá presentarlo. - Go to the test on the date, time and room indicated on your appointment ticket. Please arrive early. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
Preséntese a tomar el examen en la fecha, la hora y el salón indicados en su ficha/boleto. Por favor llegue temprano. No se le permitirá presentar el examen si llega tarde. - You will be given an orientation appointment at the test.
Durante el examen se le dará una ficha/boleto para una sesión informativa obligatoria.

Bring to the test: Traiga al examen:
pencil, photo I.D. and SBCC Student number (assigned at time of application).
